The Stramondo farm is situated in a hilly zone in the eastern Sicily. This fertile soil, anciently appreciated  by the Greeks and Arabs, is well known for the exceptional characteristics of the "Nocellare dell'Etna" olives.  The micro-climate, the care of the centuries old olive trees, the manual harvest of the olives in october and the crushing carried out on the same day, assure an Extra Virgin Olive Oil of an exceptional qualitative standard. With their typical big dimensions and rich pulp, they are harvested and processed without any additives or preservers. They are particularly appreciated for snacks and as flavouring in the recipes of Mediterranean cooking, introducing a touch of genuine and unique taste. The Extra Virgin Olive Oil with its intense green colour, golden reflexes, very harmonic and elegant flavours, rich of soft aromatic and light spicy taste is specially indicated against cholesterol because it has extraordinary anti free-radical properties rich of natural minerals and vitamins helping cells renewal and youth of skin.
